SBB Gatherings in the Village

When Mark and I decided to live on base it was mostly because I wanted the "neighborhood vibe." We knew Mark was going to deploy pretty quickly and having a community around me was something very important to me. Fast forward to snagging a house in the best neighborhood on Lejeune (just ask us) and I could not be more happy.

For my 30th birthday, Mark got me a miter saw! It might seem like a weird gift, but it was #1 on my list. Last year, for my birthday, my parents got me a nice little "starter kit" of tools, but the miter saw was really going to step my game up. Bam! Game. Stepped. Up.

During a recent craft day at my house, I made this iPhone case out of dried flowers from an old bouquet. Although it's not perfect, it was pretty fun to get back into the mix and try a new project!
