Bourbon, Houseboats, and Farm Animals | Visiting KY & TN
For our anniversary, Mark and I celebrated by taking a road trip to Kentucky and Tennessee! It started with the long-haul trip to Knoxville (ps - stayed at the cutest AirBnB while there) in an effort to get as far as possible in one day, plus a stop in South Caroline to see Mark's sister.
After that, we headed to Kentucky to experience a part of the bourbon trail! That was a sweet spot for my bourbon-loving husband and some the best scenery and people that I've ever met! We wrapped up our trip by linking up with my family and enjoying Memorial Day Weekend on a houseboat. It was all very exciting!

Editing Our Wedding Photos
Yep. You read that right. Back when we got married, almost 5 years ago, we hired a friend to photograph our wedding. Afterward, she gave me all of the unedited images and told me to have at it. Back then, I had an older Macbook that didn't have a very good screen resolution and they all ended up with a red hue to them.
So, for our 5th Anniversary I'm going back and re-editing them because I have a ton of free time (read that with major sarcasm).

North Island New Zealand | Auckland & Waiheke Island
We flew into Auckland for our 2nd Anniversary trip from Tokyo via Air New Zealand, direct, and landed around 7:30 am on May 25th. The flight was long, but it was so nice that there was an affordable direct flight! We, foolishly, took a cab from the airport to Sky City, leaving our bags at the airport to pick up later. Who wants to carry their suitcases around all day?! Well, after a $90NZD ride, we quickly learned that we needed to find a better way to return to the airport to gather our things.
