Humphries Holiday: Florence & Rome
After our visit to Monaco, we headed to our final country: Italy! We had two stops to go, overall, and I was super excited to be heading to Florence and Rome because I wanted to eat all of the Italian food that I could!

Humphries Holiday: Antibes & Grasse
My mom's birthday is on September 13th and it landed right in the middle of our trip. We let her pick what she wanted to do and her only request was to be at the beach. So, the night before we needed to leave Apt, we searched and searched for a place to go. Eventually, we decided to get a hotel where we could order room service and other amenities in Antibes.

Humphries Holiday: Provence
The morning [read: we slept in and it was nearly afternoon] after arriving in Apt, my sister and I took the car and set off to explore more of the Provence area. This area of France is known for their lavender and sunflower fields, which we were hoping to get a glimpse of. However, we missed the sunflowers by, what seemed like, days. Don't worry, though, because Provence is still beautiful without them!

Humphries Holiday: Versailles to Apt
The previous posts about our Humphries Holiday covered our Europe vacay up to our time in Paris and our experience with our rental car. So, we were planning to make our way to Lyon, but decided to take a detour to check out the Palace of Versailles and grab lunch. Then, we made a straight through drive to Lyon where our next AirBnB apartment was located.

Humphries Holiday: Auto Europe Car Rental
After a lot of research, my sister and I decided that renting a car would be the most efficient (both cost and accessibility) way for us, as a family, to see everything that we wanted to see during our two week Europe Adventure. So, that led us to Auto Europe!

Humphries Holiday: Paris
The next stop on our Humphries Holiday was Paris! This was a highlight for me because I'd dreamed of sitting on lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower and my dream was fulfilled. We saw so much of the city in such a short period of time and we loved it. Lots of memories and lots of fun.

Praying for Paris
Tonight was supposed to be my recap of my family's time in Paris during our two week adventure through Europe. However, after hearing the news, I just don't feel right talking about our fun times in the city.
Pray for Paris and everyone affected by the tragedy still unfolding.

Oh the Places We Will Go... Paris
{link}
My family is planning an "original 4" trip to Europe this fall. I'm super excited to see new places with my parents and sister! One place that seems so dreamy is Paris and, if we don't make it there on the family trip, I have high hopes that Mark and I will go one day.
